Our Coaches

Carrie B. Jerger
The Alaskanettes head coach and Executive Director is Carrie Jerger, who has served the U.S. Twirling Association, Inc. as the Chairperson of the National Coaches’ Commission and the National Judge's Commission.  In this capacity, Mrs. Jerger was responsible for the education and certification of baton twirling coaches throughout the United States.  In 2003, Mrs. Jerger was inducted into the U.S. Twirling Association Hall Of Fame.

Dawn C. Williams
Dawn grew up in Alaska and competitively twirled for ten years.  She is active in the beginner classes and second year twirler classes.  Dawn is a certified U.S.T.A. coach and a Level I Judge.  She serves on the Board of Directors as the President.

Kathy Freeman
Kathy started twirling at the age eleven when she saw a flyer from school highlighting a summer trip opportunity to the Soviet Union and Poland.  Wanting to travel the world, she convinced her mom this is what she wanted to do.  Today, she is the President of the Alaskanette Baton Corps Board of Directors, a Level III judge and U. S. T. A. certified coach.
